In this scenario, the purpose of this study was to evaluate the impact of the digital newspaper Engema on the process of scientific dissemination and popularization in topics related to Engineering and the Environment. The methodology adopted was divided into two stages: editorial and content analysis, in addition to the evaluation of mechanisms for the dissemination and popularization of science. The data considered refer to the base year 2025 and were extracted from the @engemajd profile, linked to the Instagram social network, including publications from the 6th and 7th editions on a quarterly basis; republications of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd previous editions through Engema em Foco, on a weekly basis; as well as metrics related to the e-books ‘Por um rio limpo: Ecobarreira’ (For a clean river: Ecobarrier) and ‘Égua, tu não sabes o que é COP30? Tédoidé?!’ (Horse, don't you know what COP30 is? Tédoidé?!), both produced by the Giama/UFPA research group. Damografic and user reach data were collected through the Meta Business Suite platform. The publications were also analyzed considering the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN 2030 Agenda. The results indicated editorial advances, strengthening of institutional partnerships, and greater communication effectiveness via stories, especially in content related to climate change, environmental education, and basic sanitation. A predominance of female audiences in the youth and adult age groups was observed. The publications covered 15 SDGs, namely: Good Health and Well-being; Quality Education; Gender Equality; Clean Water and Sanitation; Affordable and Clean Energy; Decent Work and Economic Growth; Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure; Reduced Inequalities; Sustainable Cities and Communities; Responsible Consumption and Production; Climate Action; Life Below Water; Life on Land; Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions; and Partnerships and Means of Implementation. The digital newspaper Engema stood out as a relevant tool for digital scientific communication and non-formal environmental education, promoting closer ties between academia and society, as well as the development of critical and sustainable awareness in the Amazon and Brazil.
