However, artisanal fishers face numerous challenges related to their working conditions, such as poor infrastructure, lack of specific public policies, unsafe labor environments, and exposure to occupational risks. This study aims to analyze the Quality of Work Life (QWL) of these workers in the municipality of Abaetetuba (PA), based on Walton's theoretical model (1973), which considers eight key dimensions: compensation, safety, opportunities for growth, physical work environment, work hours, social support, interpersonal relationships, and autonomy. The research adopts a quantitative approach and applies questionnaires to capture the fishers’ perceptions of their working conditions. The theoretical framework is supported by authors such as Walton, Chiavenato, Gil, Limongi-França, and Ferreira, and highlights the need for integrated actions that promote health, safety, and dignity at work. The expected results aim to contribute with proposals for improving the quality of work life in the artisanal fishing context.Acesso AbertoPesca artesanalQualidade de vida no trabalhoRiscos ocupacionaisSegurança no trabalhoArtisanal fishingQuality of work lifeOccupational risksWorkplace safetyCNPQ::ENGENHARIAS::ENGENHARIA DE PRODUCAOAnálise da qualidade de vida no trabalho de pescadores artesanais de uma comunidade ribeirinha de Abaetetuba (PA)Trabalho de Curso - Graduação - ArtigoAttribution-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazil
