Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8783The present Course Work (CW) has as its main objective to present the experience lived through an activity carried out in the Ramal do Piratuba, aimed at understanding the local work and the use of the means employed in the preparation of activities for cassava flour production. Thus, after the reading and collection of information, this work was developed through a publication at the event XV National Meeting of Mathematics Education (ENEM), in which it was written in article format with the purpose of identifying works related to the keywords used in the CAPES (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel) Database and Journals, as well as in Google Scholar, considering a time frame from 2012 to 2024. Consequently, this work results from what was observed in the practice of cassava flour production and from the reading of materials related to Ethnomathematics. Therefore, this study contributes to the appreciation of cultural identity, the preservation of flour production practices in the Quilombo of Piratuba, the recognition of knowledge that can be applied in daily life, the acknowledgment of manual skills, and the inspiration that teachers may draw upon for classroom use.
