Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9901This article stems from the intersection of dance creation, Amazonian encantarias, and teaching practices, and aims to analyze the creative process of the poetics Festejo de Encantarias, grounded in the notion of the festive body (corpo-festejo) and traversed by Carimbó as a pedagogical resource in dance-theater. This qualitative, exploratory, and explanatory research was conducted between 2025 and 2026 in Belém do Pará with members of the research group Processos de Criação na Encantaria do Corpo (ProCriEnCorpo), through scenic creation laboratories, participant observation, and the collection of poetic-affective narratives. The process resulted in the creation of the performance Festejo de Encantarias, presented as an artistic outcome within the Institutional Program of Scholarships for Initiation in Artistic and Cultural Practices (PIBIPA). The results reveal that the festive body, in dialogue with the bodily and rhythmic dynamics of Carimbó and the participants’ narratives about Amazonian encantarias, constituted a powerful axis between scenic creation and dance teaching.
