Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/3628Highway drainage projects and works, as well as many other economic activities, need historical rainfall data such as duration, intensity and frequency to function properly. However, for the State of Pará, there is a lack of recent studies that aim to determine intense rainfall equations, as these equations are modified as new data are collected. Therefore, the objective of this work is to generate intensity-durationfrequency curves (IDF) and intense rainfall equations for 12 municipalities in Pará, with one municipality per integration region, in order to cover the entire territory of the state. For this, the historical series of precipitation, available on the Portal HIDROWEB, were analyzed and, from them, the maximum annual precipitation, means and standard deviations were obtained. The IDF curves were obtained from the Gumbel probability distribution and rainfall disaggregation (Method of Isozones). The rainfall equations were obtained by linearization and validated by the Coefficient of Efficiency (COE). The main results were: 12 intense rainfall equations with good reliability, as the COE values were above 90%, with the city of Marabá having the highest Average Coefficient (99,08%) and the city of Bragança resulting in the lowest Average COE (94,60%). Thus, the highest rainfall for drainage devices was obtained in the cities of Cametá, recording 54,01 mm/h, for a Return Time (TR) equal to 1 year and a Concentration Time (tc) of 60 minutes, and in Paragominas, obtaining 228,37 mm/h for TR= 10 years and tc= 5 minutes, and 192,80 mm/h, for TR= 25 years and tc= 10 minutes. And the lowest intensities were mostly obtained for the city of Breves, recording 150,96 mm/h and 128,37 mm/h, for the pairs of TR= 1 year and tc= 60 minutes, TR= 25 years and tc= 10 minutes, respectively, but also for the city of Belém, with a record of 150,96 mm/h for TR= 10 years and tc= 5 minutes. It is concluded that the generated equations are valid to aid in drainage systems projects, updating the existing rainfall equations for each integration region.Acesso AbertoChuvas intensasCurvas Intensidade-Duração-Frequência (IDF)Equações de chuva - Carência de estudos - Estado do ParáDrenagem de rodoviasCNPQ::ENGENHARIAS::ENGENHARIA CIVILDeterminação de equações de chuvas intensas para o estado do Pará com foco nas obras de drenagem rodoviáriaDetermination of intense rainfall equations for the state of Pará with a focus on road drainage worksTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - Monografia
