Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9064This work objectively describes the life narrative of transidentity people, dissidents from the binary gender standard, seeking to sociologically understand the panorama experienced with the social institutions of Family and Education. The methodology used refers to non-directive interviews, through the life story of each person interviewed, which are presented in chapter I succinctly. The discussions present in this research discuss the body and the construction of identity and the presence of transgenderism in the family and educational space. The theoretical references used to support the discussion are from authors who discuss the topic such as Judith Butler, Michel Foucault, bell hooks, Paulo Freire, among others. Finally, it is concluded that the life path of trans people is marked by prejudice and discrimination that contribute to the process of social invisibility, denying their sociability and citizenship; the family contributes to this process when it imposes regulations on the differentiated behavior of its descendants, in order to affirm gender binarism; and educational institutions are spaces that make it difficult for trans-identity personalities to remain, as they are violated in these places in different ways.
