The project is based on extensive literature review and experimental tests to determine how suspension reinforcement and concrete strength affect the load capacity of these structural elements. The main objective was to achieve failure by concrete cone breakout, and tests were conducted on 15 reinforced concrete specimens. The experimental methodology was carefully planned, varying key parameters such as the rate and spacing of the suspension reinforcement, and using three concrete strength classes: 30 MPa, 40 MPa, and 50 MPa. The results confirmed that an increase in concrete strength is directly linked to an increase in the ultimate load of the connectors. The tests also demonstrated the effectiveness of the suspension reinforcement, showing that its proximity to the connector significantly increases the pullout capacity. A crucial part of the work was the comparative analysis between the experimental results and normative calculation models. The authors evaluated the precision of the recommendations from ACI 318 (2019) and INFASO (2012). The analysis revealed that the INFASO model was more efficient and accurate in predicting the pullout capacity, especially in higher strength concretes (40 and 50 MPa).
