The study is grounded in theoretical frameworks of inclusive education, neurodiversity, and dance pedagogy, drawing on authors such as Paulo Freire, Rudolf Laban, Mantoan, and Teixeira-Machado. Methodologically, the research adopts a qualitative approach, structured around a literature review, direct observation, and the application of questionnaires to teachers working in social projects. The findings indicate that, although dance is recognized as a pedagogical and therapeutic resource capable of fostering motor, cognitive, social, and emotional development in children with ASD, its effectiveness depends directly on teacher training and on the adoption of pedagogical strategies adapted to the specific needs of students. The main difficulties reported by teachers include the lack of specialized training, oversized classes, and limited support resources. The study concludes that dance, when understood as both an artistic and educational language, can provide a privileged space for inclusion and expression, provided it is supported by critical, sensitive, and contextually responsive pedagogical practices. This work contributes to the field of Dance Education by promoting reflections on teacher training and on the role of dance as an instrument of inclusion in informal educational contexts, thereby expanding the academic debate on the relationship between art, education, and diversity.
