In the state of Amazonas, among other cities, the Solimões River flows through the municipality of Maraã, where the areas of our research are located, respectively: the Jutaí-Cleto Fishing Agreement and the Jurupari Fishing Agreement. Our study subjects are fishermen and artisanal fishermen who participate in the managed fishing programs developed in this region. The objective is to demonstrate that the participation of young people in these projects indicates the resilience of artisanal fishing in this region, considering that, globally, there is a shift away from this category of fishing. We argue that the participation of women in these projects ensures the inclusion of children and young people, who have access to traditional knowledge. The data analyzed result from ethnographic research developed with two collectives that develop pirarucu management projects, whose methodology consisted of conducting interviews, monitoring the activities of women and children in fishing; and reviewing the literature on the subject of artisanal fishing and youth. The analysis of the data indicates that the participation of women in fishery resource management projects allows access to income and that future generations have access to fishing knowledge and techniques, promotes the circulation of traditional knowledge, conservation of biodiversity by becoming an income option, and the permanence of young people in the communities.Acesso AbertoMulheresJuventudePesca artesanalResiliênciaWomenYouthArtisanal fishingResilienceCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::SOCIOLOGIAA participação de jovens na gestão comunitária de recursos pesqueiros e resiliência da pesca artesanal na região do Médio Solimões, AMYoung people's participation in community management of fisheries resources and resilience of artisanal fishing in the Médio Solimões region, AMTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - ArtigoAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazil
