Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8390This study aims to broaden the understanding of architectural production considered regional, based on the Specialization Course Architecture in the Tropics (EAT), held in the 80s of the twentieth century, the first to evidence the study of Pará architecture using bioclimatic analysis, local construction techniques and regional materials. With this, it is proposed the analysis of the projectual conceptions from case studies of a project of a graduate student, the chosen work was the high school block of the UFPA School of Application, authored by Stélio Santa Rosa. The bibliographic research on regionalism was based on authors such as Steven Moore (1993), Hugo Segawa (2003), Leonardo Name (2021), Alfonso Martinez (1994) and Gunter Weimer (2005). In a second stage, the didactic material taught and the works produced by students, filed in the Laboratory of Memory and Cultural Heritage (LAMEMO) were analyzed for the elaboration of a spreadsheet and the choice of five keywords to list the relationship between these words and the solutions adopted in the work. Afterwards, the field research was composed of technical visits to the selected space with a double purpose: image documentation, in order to compare the changes that occurred in the building through current and old photographs and technical plans, and probing the users' perception of the architecture and its integration into the Amazonian context. Given this, the impact of the EAT course on the analyzed work is noted with solutions that aimed at better adaptation to the equatorial climate with the technology available in the region, based on the material taught in the course. However, the perception of the users is not clear in the identification of the example as belonging to the regional architecture, as well as the frequent alteration of architectural details demonstrates a desire to update the building, to the detriment of the Amazonian characteristics present in it.Acesso AbertoRegionalismoConforto AmbientalDetalhes arquitetônicosBelém do ParáRegionalismEnvironmental ComfortArchitectural DetailsArchitecture and Urbanism Course UFPABelém do ParáCNPQ::CIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS::ARQUITETURA E URBANISMO::FUNDAMENTOS DE ARQUITETURA E URBANISMOArquitetura Amazônica: estudo de caso no prédio do ensino médio da Escola de Aplicação da UFPATrabalho de Curso - Graduação - MonografiaAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazil
