This study aimed to analyze the method of evaporative fraction in a forest ecosystem and soybean, in order to evaluate this method in estimating evapotranspiration m in two vegetation types, as evapotranspiration is one of main component of natural hydrological cycle. The culture data (Glycine max (L.) Merrill.) With an approximate area of 200 hectares and whose growing season extended from February to June 2007, is located in the municipality of Paragominas, northeastern Pará State Data regarding the forest ecosystem were collected in the forest reserve Caxiuanã, located in the archipelago of Marajo, the western part of Pará state results showed that the fraction method showed good performance in the estimation of evapotranspiration compared with methods traditionally used in various types of crop (Bowen and Penmam-Monteith). In comparing the partition of net radiation, it was found that on average 70% is going to latent heat flux in soybean, while in the forest, the latent heat flux represents 62% of net radiation.
