To identify which of these learning strategies students use to learn the additional language. This research was carried out in a rural school in the city of Bragança, Pará, with 9th grade students. The methodology of this study is qualitative and descriptive, using a five-question questionnaire given orally to individual students. As theoretical support, this research sought an overview of the use of learning strategies based mainly on the studies of Oxford (1990), O’Malley and Chamot (1990), among others. The results show that not all students use learning strategies consciously and not all strategies are used, but the use of strategies contributes positively to fostering autonomy inside and outside the classroom.Acesso AbertoModular educationLearning strategiesEnglish learningEnsino modularEstratégias de aprendizagemAprendizagem de inglêsCNPQ::LINGUISTICA, LETRAS E ARTES::LINGUISTICA::LINGUISTICA APLICADACNPQ::LINGUISTICA, LETRAS E ARTES::LETRAS::LINGUAS ESTRANGEIRAS MODERNASLearning strategies: a case study with elementary students from Modular Education System (Some)Trabalho de Curso - Graduação - Artigo
