Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/4610Fibromyalgia is a not articular rheumatic illness, of unkown etiology, characterized by generalizated chronic pain, sleep disturbance, fatigue and mood changes, leading to a lack of life quality. OBJECTIVE: To evaluate clinical evolution of patients according to the various therapeutic modalities in a particlar clinic, specialized in Rheumatology, located in Belém. METHODS: It were analyzed 40 promptuaries with BioStat 3.0, all of patients of female gender, in all ages, filling a protocol. RESULTS: 89% of patients kept regular accompaniment after the diagnostic of fibromyalgia. 57,5% had related improvement in at least one of the studied variables, being amitriptilina the most used drug and the one wich had the best clinical results. Regular or moderate physical exercise or phisiotherapy asociated to pharmacotherapy had presented improvement in the quality of life when compared the isolated pharmacotherapy.
