The work developed from direct observation and semi - structured interviews, representing a qualitative research of descriptive nature and an inductive approach. Also bibliographical researches are used, whose theoretical reference is based on Cardoso, which brings information about the denomination of brega. Catete, Pressler and Silva, on the diversification of the genus. José Ortega y Gasset and Marcel Mauss talk about culture, while António Costa and Fontanella deal specifically with the bígira culture. For coding, I use Jung and Lima. Felipe Souza, deals with assimilation of learning and Baroque, Tulesk and Siqueira of the creative processes.
