The solid waste management in the large vessels of shipping companies large vessels of the navigation companies focuses on the research, is a problem to be studied, since it is visible the incorrect destination of the waste by the employees and most often passengers of the vessels causing impacts that bring with it several environmental consequences for the population of the region. The present work is a research carried out in the water transport companies of the Municipality of Breves-PA. The qualitative-quantitative research, mediated by the aid of questionnaires and interviews, aimed to make diagnosis of waste management with employees of three municipal navigation companies, therefore it is believed that employees can be disseminators of information and new conduits for passengers in relation to waste management.
