The methodology used is a qualitative and descriptive approach using participant observation, a field notebook and narratives based on intermediation relationships between the mediator and a 9th grade student at a private school in the municipality of Castanhal/Pará. The experiences of pedagogical mediations carried out in the private school were of constant learning, with frustrations when building expectations, but with significant achievements and immeasurable joy. School mediation allowed a relationship with the student in an affectionate way, with affection and insight, generating student autonomy.
