The research highlights the relation of this practice by narrating the competition report, and its rulings and show. I point out the reader in the gay art scene covering the gay community GLBTTS and Pará miss contests and Brazil Miss Gay, as well as I share my experiences as to participate in the dress-up of a miss. The study presents methodological aspects which shape the research by using qualitative and participant research methods through direct and indirect observation. I hold open-up and semi-structured interviews with all of the contestants highlighting the beginning of their feminine character changes up to the end of their performance. The basic theoretical horizon has as authors Picazio (1999) Meksenas (2002) Bião (1999) and Amaral (2012).
