The story presents intimate memories marked by oppression, abuse, and silenced traumas that permeate women’s childhood and adolescence. The narrative unfolds as a personal account that exposes the deep scars left by a childhood shaped by violence and emotional suffering. In this sense, the study contributes to contemporary Amazonian literature by highlighting narratives that bring women’s lived experiences from this region to the national literary scene. The research addresses oppression, violence, traumatic memories, and family conflicts, while also emphasizing processes of resistance and subjective reconstruction. Writing, in this context, assumes both a therapeutic and political function, transforming pain into language and breaking the silence historically imposed on women.
