Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9184This study addresses pedagogy in hospital enviroments, highlighting new perspectives on education practices in this context. The research aims to understand through the literature, how pedagogical practices occurs in hospital spaces, as well ass to identify the theoretical frameworks that support hospital pedagogy, in order to understand the role of the pedagogue in hospital classroom. The methodology used is qualitative and bibliographical, based on a review of scientific articles published between 2019 and 2023 in the Redalyc database. After systematizing the material, six articles were selected for analysis. The results highlight the following aspects of the pedagogue’s role in the hospital environment: the devolpement of differentiated activies and pedagogical support to assist in the education process of hospitalized children and adolecents ; the redefinition of the hospital’s image for both education professionals and students; the need for humanized training that respects institutional limitations; and the promotion of individualized teaching, in which playfulness serves as tool for learning and comfort. Additionally, the study highlights the challenge of dealing with the dilemmas of life and death experienced by students and their families.
