In this context, this study aims to identify and map pathological manifestations in historic buildings, contributing to their conservation and appreciation. As a case study, the research focuses on the Ver-o-Peso Meat Market in Belém do Pará, a highly significant historic building that faces various constructive pathologies due to time, climatic conditions, and lack of proper maintenance. Among the observed issues are the corrosion of metal elements, structural cracks, and material degradation. For the rehabilitation of this structure, solutions such as structural reinforcement, moisture and corrosion treatment, restoration of coatings, and the application of techniques compatible with heritage preservation are analyzed.
