Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/7311The Guadalupe Group corresponds to a siliciclastic sequence deposited in marine and transitional environments. Locally, in Boyacá (Colombia) there are outcrops of the Plaeners Formation (Upper Campanian to the lower Maastrichtian), associated with lithofacies of mudstones, sandstones, cherts and phosphorites. Six samples were collected from this unit in Sogamoso city-Boyacá. The framework of these rocks is composed mainly of phosphatic pellets, bioclasts and quartz, indicating biological activity, and cemented mainly by fluorapatite and calcite.
