Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8083Our work entitle “education and conflict:” A study about fishing agreement of the Rio das Flores community, presents a reflection on existing conflict in the fishing agreements of the lower Tocantins region, in especially in the Rio das Flores community, in the city of Limoeiro do Ajuru-Pa and whose problematic was to know how the education phenomenon would contribute to salve the conflicts existing in the agreement studied. In the first chapter, we did a historical survey of the region, as well as, some cultural characteristics and regional identities. In the second chapter, we introduce and discuss on some of the main conflicts approached in the survey. In the last chapter, we discussed on the education role in the process of the individuals formation based on some authors in order that those individuals are aware of environmental conservation. The data collected were obtained through the bibliographical, ethnographic and field research and focusing on a qualitative approach. The methodological procedures we used were those of semi-structured interviews and observation: as well as, the verification participant method of the data collected through the discourse analysis.
