However, this work seeks the insertion of charcoal fines, the product of wood burning. Charcoal contributes to the production of 42% of Brazilian steel. The mill has a high calorific value, which helps in the burning and agglomeration of fines. In this agglomeration it is imperative that there is an input that aims at better agglomerate, with good mechanical resistance and that is of good quality for later operations and ends. The addition of charcoal grinder increases reactivity and productivity, important to note that this renewable fuel is a biomass. Few gases released by it do not interfere in the agglomeration under study, the sintering that is presented as the best option to agglomerate iron ore fines. The sinter, formed with addition of charcoal mill, is a ductile compound and shows good resistance, mechanical property analyzed after mechanical tests. Charcoal implies in the porosity with which the resistance is indirectly proportional; therefore, a sinter with a high degree of pore is not advantageous, as it will render it less resistant.
