Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8741This study investigated the scientific production of undergraduate library science students available in the institutional repositories of the Federal University of Pará, the Federal University of Amazonas, and the Federal University of Rondônia. Its objectives were: a) To identify the types of production (articles, dissertations, etc.); b) To map the main terms and quantify them; and c) To discuss the contribution of this production to Brazilian library science, focusing on the most recurring themes. It adopted a qualitative and quantitative approach, with a descriptive-exploratory approach and bibliometric procedures. Data collection took place directly from the institutions' repositories. Voyant Tools software was used for lexical analysis, identifying frequent words and thematic relationships. The results revealed differences in the volume of production, with a concentration of topics related to information organization, information literacy, digital libraries, information mediation, and technology use. Although there is thematic convergence, each institution presented specific lines of research. The analyses indicated that institutional repositories are important for the preservation and dissemination of academic production, but they present variations in standardization and record visibility.
