Its specific objectives are to describe the documents found in the literature search that deal with legal information and documentation and to list the main concepts found and their respective works. The research was conducted in databases, articles, and books, which characterizes the research as bibliographic. The results, such as the concepts of legal information and documentation in the context of Library Science, indicate that these have changed little and emphasize the relationship with the field of knowledge, Law, and its specificities.
