Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8637This article explores how libraries, especially those at higher education institutions, have adapted their resources, such as databases and virtual services, to better meet the needs of their users. Its objective is to identify how federal university libraries in the state of Pará, specifically those at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) and the Federal Rural University of the Amazon (UFRA), educate their users about online information sources. The research was based on a bibliographic review of scientific studies and a documentary analysis of resources and services available on the websites of the UFPA and UFRA libraries. Databases such as Brapci, SciELO, and DOAJ were consulted, in addition to the websites of the libraries studied. The UFPA and UFRA libraries offer several tools to facilitate access to digital information. UFRA, for example, implemented the Virtual Reference Service (SRV) during the pandemic, assisting users in their research. UFPA offers a wide range of digital resources, training programs and uses social networks to disseminate information and tutorials, promoting digital inclusion and ongoing training of users. The university libraries of UFPA and UFRA demonstrate their relevance by adapting their practices and resources, expanding access to knowledge and training critical users.
