Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/10480This undergraduate thesis, organized in a multi-paper format, addresses the teaching of probability in teacher education by connecting academic research with an outreach experience developed during the initial education of mathematics teachers. Its general objective was to understand how studies and pedagogical practices contribute to the development of the conceptual, pedagogical, and professional knowledge required to teach probability. Article I presents a qualitative literature review of eight papers identified in the proceedings of editions of the National Meeting of Mathematics Education and the International Seminar on Research in Mathematics Education, selected through previously defined descriptors and criteria. The analysis showed that preparation for teaching probability cannot be reduced to mastery of mathematical content, as it requires connections between conceptual and pedagogical knowledge, closer relationships between universities and schools, and the intentional use of games, experiments, problem solving, and investigative activities. Article II reports an experience conducted within a Mathematics Outreach course, involving the planning and implementation of an activity on random events at a Mathematics Fair through the use of manipulatives designed from an inclusive perspective. The experience fostered the development of planning, communication, pedagogical mediation, and reflection on practice.
