The research seeks to understand how these feelings appear in the dialogues and experiences of the aviator, the Little Prince, and the other characters in the narrative. It is a qualitative, bibliographic study grounded in literary theory. The methodological approach involved a literary analysis of the work, considering elements such as plot, characters, narrator, language, and social context. The results show that feelings of reprimand, repression, and oppression permeate various moments of the narrative, particularly in the relationships between childhood and the adult world. It was also found that the aviator character experiences the repression of creativity and subjectivity from childhood onwards, while other characters express different forms of emotional suffering—such as loneliness, guilt, and the burden of responsibility—alongside a quest for recognition. The study concludes that the work offers significant reflections on human relationships, the value of childhood, and the impact of social structures on individual development, demonstrating the potential of children's literature as a tool for critical reflection and human growth. Furthermore, the research highlights the importance of children's literature in child development; works like this are essential for fostering critical thinking, empathy, and an understanding of social relationships, making them indispensable in the classroom.
