Considering that its construction involves the definition and organization of specialized concepts and terminologies, this research seeks to guide the TSB from the perspective of Information Science, with an emphasis on knowledge organization. The study aims to analyze the development panorama, highlighting its strategic relevance and the contribution of knowledge organization and terminological control to its construction and consolidation. This is a qualitative, exploratory, and descriptive study developed through documentary research, using the taxonomy's methodological plan and other official documents as its corpus. The results demonstrate that the object of study presents characteristics of a knowledge organization system, systematically structuring concepts, categories, and technical criteria.
