In general, the question arises as to what happiness is, what pleasure, suffering and desire consist of, and how these relate to happiness insofar as it is considered that it is only by knowing these that it is possible to point out a path to happiness. Thus, the hypothesis is supported that happiness is a way of life in accordance with knowledge that reveals human nature and the finiteness of pleasure and suffering, as well as the continuous overlap of one with the other throughout life, which there is no desire, movement or transformation without suffering and that without pleasure there is no remedy for suffering, nor is any rest possible, that pleasure and suffering are equally necessary to life. Finally, it is concluded that happiness depends on three factors: the first is self-knowledge; the second is the satisfaction of needs common to all human beings, those that can be said to be the first and most urgent; the third is the satisfaction of individual needs.Acesso AbertoEticaFelicidadeDesejoEthicsHappinessPleasureSufferingDesireCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::FILOSOFIAPrincípios gerais da felicidade: expostos como crítica a Schopenhauer, Epicuro e NietzscheGeneral Principles of Happiness: presented as a critique of Schopenhauer, Epicurus and NietzscheTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - ArtigoAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International
