This study aims to analyze the impacts of Law No. 14,300/2022 on the economic viability and growth of photovoltaic solar energy in the country, considering regulatory changes and infrastructure challenges. The methodology adopted was a literature review, with analysis of academic articles, dissertations, and theses published between 2020 and 2025, in order to identify the main aspects of the legislation and its implications for the sector. The results showed that the law brought important advances, such as the creation of an electricity compensation system, but also generated challenges related to distribution infrastructure and the introduction of tariffs on the use of the electricity grid. High initial costs and lack of access to financing were highlighted as barriers to widespread adoption of the technology, especially among low-income consumers.
