Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9666In this activity, a proposition was made to revitalize ethno-knowledge in the urban area from Altamira through the use of indigenous medicinal plants, by planting and sharing seedlings. This enterprise encouraged the creation of green and accessible spaces, stimulating learning about the therapeutic properties of plants and strengthening great relations with nature. Knowledge was exchanged among community groups, encouraging intercultural dialogue and valuing diversity. The revitalization of these practices brought physical benefits and also strengthened the connection with our cultural roots and the environment. This holistic approach recognized the interconnection between the individual, the community, and nature, valuing ancestral wisdom and promoting autonomy in the search for well-being. The proposal to revitalize ethno-knowledge in Altamira City through the use of indigenous medicinal plants and therapies proved to be a successful and enjoyable activity. The active participation of the community was crucial in strengthening the traditional medicine of the indigenous peoples who make up the Kirinapãn Association, of which I am also a member, and in valuing their culture. In addition to the benefits for physical, emotional, and spiritual health, the initiative promoted intercultural dialog between the relatives who are part of the association and diversified health care options. The project has revitalized traditional knowledge, involving the community in collective activities that have given on ancestral knowledge and which we hope will continue to do so. This proposal has contributed to maintaining indigenous identity, cultural appreciation, and the search for sustainable and inclusive traditional healthcare practices.
