Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/2451The objective of this work was to evaluate the influence of the intensification process of açaí production in Earth firm areas in relation to the environmental and productive diversity of the farmers of the Quilombola Community of the Genipaúba Abaetetuba-Pará River. Açaí is today one of the main products cultivated in the locality due to the consumption takes place of effective, cultural and daily form in the table of the riverside. In general, it can be said that açaí is currently among the fruits of the local and business economy of the region, because each crop is created new export strategies and the ways of using the fruit are expanded. However, this research aimed to analyze the impacts that the increase of the practice of açaí cultivation in both floodplain and land areas has been interfering with the environmental and productive diversity of the locality, evidencing the participation of the family in the açaí production process without neglecting to point out the importance of this practice for the economic growth of the locality. The research was developed through semi-structured questionnaires with open questions, applied to 10 (ten) producers, also the interviews had participant observation, where they were recorded and then analyzed. It was also possible to perceive in the producers that they intend to continue cultivating the palm tree and that they see in it the perspective of increasing improvement of their familiar economic resources.
