Trabalho de Curso (Bacharelado em Desenvolvimento Rural) - Instituto Amazônico de Agriculturas Familiares, Universidade Federal do Pará, Belém. 2024. Disponível em: . Acesso em:https://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/7453The Sateré-Mawé people have occupied the vast territory between the Tapajós and Amazon rivers since immemorial time. The work analyzes the occupation and struggle of the people for their original territory in the Brazilian Amazon, highlighting the complex relationship between the colonization process, dehumanization, and the resistance strategies of Indigenous peoples. The research is divided into two partes: the first characterizes the Sateré-Mawé people, including their culture, language, and history of forced migration due to diseases and invasions by loggers and land grabbers in their territory. The second part addresses the ongoing movement to reclaim lands, emphasizing the importance of collective memory and political organization in defending their territorial rights. The study receals how land grabbing and the use os the Rural Environmental Registry (CAR) threaten traditionally occupied lands, highlighting the need for state recognition and protection of Sateré-Mawé rights. The research concludes that the struggle for their territories is crucial for preserving their cultural identity and the continuity of their ancestral practices.Acesso AbertoSateré-MawéGrilagem de terrasCNPQ::CIENCIAS AGRARIAS::AGRONOMIAEntre tensões e tradições: a luta do povo Sateré-Mawé em defesa do território tradicionalmente ocupado do rio Mariaquã, oeste paraense.Trabalho de Curso - Graduação - Monografia
