It also presents suggestions for didactic activities that explore the theme in a practical and interdisciplinary manner. Based on the perspective of Mario Livio in his book The Golden Ratio, the objective of this work is the development of a scientific booklet on the subject. The first chapter addresses the origin of the Fibonacci sequence, from the Sanskrit poetry of Acharya Pingala in ancient India to the rabbit problem discussed by Leonardo of Pisa (Fibonacci), contextualizing its discovery and providing practical examples involving the sequence, thus connecting mathematics to everyday situations. The second chapter explores the golden ratio starting from Euclid’s definition in The Elements and its connection to the Fibonacci sequence. The chapter discusses its properties, geometry, manifestations in nature, and curiosities. The third chapter delves into the presence of the golden ratio in various forms of art, including music, painting, architecture, photography, and even literature.
