Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/10334This study aimed to identify the functions of pedagogues in spaces intended for the implementation of socio-educational measures through documentary analysis, such as the Brazilian Federal Constitution, the Statute of Children and Adolescents (ECA), the National Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents (Conanda) and the National System of Socio-Educational Assistance (Sinase), and bibliographical research. Based on the content of these documents, we identified that the functions attributed to pedagogues are explicitly present in several guidelines and orientations. Thus, this idea arose from the perception that the topic receives little visibility in the academic curriculum, despite its significant social relevance, working as a facilitating agent in the development of socio-educational measures and aimed at studying the performance of pedagogues in non-school educational spaces, being relevant for those who wish to better understand the scope of education in Pedagogy.
