Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/5153The present course conclusion work has as its theme: “GO WORK CLOWN: the trajectory of a clown/artist/teacher”, in which memories, marks of chance, enchantments, disappointments and discoveries that build the trajectory of a clown- artist-teacher. From the exhibition on laughter, its importance for the formation of the clown and the improvement of this art with theoretical/empirical knowledge, this work has as main objective to describe the formation of a clown who was shaped by love of art and who today is perfected to teach the techniques of making people laugh. In this way, the story of Tio Padreco is presented, who has the artist André Reis, who is presented here, behind the clown's nose. Thus, based on a case study, I expose the way in which I personally developed in order to exercise my true vocation – to be a clown and an artist. The research method used in this work was bibliographic research in order to seek references on the origin of laughter, the main objective of the clown exercise, to bring joy to those who observe it.
