The topic is highly relevant, as it is being implemented in one of the states with the highest housing deficit in the country (Pará), and due to the impacts of climate change, the rational use of natural resources and environmental preservation are becoming increasingly necessary. In this context, this study develops an architectural proposal, at the preliminary project level, for a multi-family social interest housing in the Marambaia neighborhood, in Belém, in harmony with concepts of environmental comfort. To achieve this, a vacant lot within the designated area as a special social interest zone was selected, enabling the relocation of families in risk conditions or in precarious areas within the neighborhood. To achieve its objectives, the research includes a historical review of social housing production in Brazil, an investigation into the development of high-quality architecture that is user-oriented, environmentally sustainable, and integrated into the urban fabric, as well as an analysis of relevant architectural precedents. Additionally, the project adheres to the guidelines of the Minha Casa Minha Vida program in order to define spatial dimensions and ensure quality, accessibility, and adaptability.
