The methodology adopted was qualitative and exploratory, including bibliographic review, regional case study, comparative analysis and consultation of official documents. Academic, institutional and Land Management System (Sigef) data were used. The results point to inequality in land certification, being more advanced in the southeast of Pará due to agribusiness, infrastructure and less presence of protected areas. In the north and west, challenges such as geographic isolation, land conflicts and environmental restrictions make the process difficult. The main obstacles involve technological limitations, bureaucracy and environmental impacts. However, the use of drones, satellite images and public-private partnerships has helped to overcome these difficulties.
