Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9481The universalization of access to electrical energy in the Amazon region faces logistical and geographical barriers that drive the adoption of decentralized generation in isolated systems. In the community of Ilha das Onças (Barcarena-PA), one of the solutions found for electrical energy access was the use of photovoltaic systems through a Direct Current Microgrid (DCMG) that meets local demand, but its energy generation is compromised during the rainy season or periods of low solar irradiation, requiring an Auxiliary Generation System (AGS), which consists of a BOSCH HD10 alternator coupled to a TOYAMA motor, to maintain power distribution. This work presents the development, assembly, and validation of a low-cost embedded instrumentation system for monitoring electrical parameters from the AGS. The solution to this problem was based on the open source Arduino Nano platform, integrating Hall effect sensors and an isolated voltage transducer for data acquisition, with logging in non-volatile memory. The physical construction of the prototype used a CNC milling machine to manufacture the traces of the Printed Circuit Board (PCB). For protection, a commercial hermetic box was used, mechanically adapted for fixing components and connectors, aiming to protect against the region's weather conditions. Field tests validated the prototype's functionality by recording voltage and current values and comparing them with an oscilloscope multimeter used at the time of testing, presenting a measurement error range of 0.01% to 0.4%. Additionally, saturation of the nominal current sensor was observed in the face of the alternator's load peaks, limiting the measurement of total energy but providing data for proof of concept. It is concluded that the proposed solution is viable for monitoring and storing operational data during the activation of the AGS, offering an accessible alternative to commercial instrumentation.
