Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/5949The present work was carried out in the Association of Support and Guidance to Autistic Parents - GAOPA, a non-governmental organization, located in the city of Barcarena-Pa. It aims to analyze how the process of inclusion of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder - ASD occurs from GAOPA's perspective. The theoretical framework is in Sílvia Ester Orrú (2016), Geraldo Dawson (2020), James C. McPartland (2020), Sally Ozonoff (2020), among the authors who talk about ASD; Fernandes (1994), Montenegro (1994), authors who talk about the work of NGOs. The methodology is qualitative and bibliographic research that discuss the theme addressed in this article, in books, articles, Union documents and municipal documents.
