Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9920This study aims to propose the adequacy of the Lightning Protection System (LPS) of a grain warehouse located in the city of Água Boa - MT, ensuring compliance with the NBR 5419:2015 standard and the Technical Standards (NTCBs) of the state of Mato Grosso. The purpose is to guarantee that all technical parameters meet the inspection criteria of the Military Fire Department of Mato Grosso (CBMMT) for the issuance of the Fire and Panic Safety License (ASCIP). In this scenario, a company was hired to elaborate the calculation memory, inspect the existing LPS, and diagnose non-compliances in the current protection system. Based on this diagnosis, a second company was called upon to perform the adjustments in the mesh, down-conductor, and grounding subsystems of all non-compliant structures.
