This study aims to describe all the processes that are part of the management of medical-hospital equipment administered by the clinical engineering team, from its implementation and operation to its evaluation, through indicators, and its control. The clinical engineering sector is responsible for this management and develops the planning and control of the activities for each process. This work describes the organization of Clinical Engineering, the outsourcing of services, the infrastructure and the information technology necessary to meet the processes.
