Inserted within the field of Technical Assistance for Social Housing (ATHIS), the action-research is grounded on the methodological and territorial learnings of the extension projects “Laboratório Sensível à Água” and “Periferia em Curso”. The aim is to develop accessible and adapted solutions to local challenges of sanitation and waste management, considering community knowledge, the constraints of floodplain territories, and the current technical and legal frameworks.
