This study aimed to conduct a retrospective and epidemiological analysis of ACD cases reported between 2014 and 2023 in the 12 health integration regions of the state. This descriptive, cross-sectional, and quantitative study used secondary data from the Notifiable Diseases Information System (SINAN) through the TABNET/DATASUS platform. A total of 2,720 confirmed cases were registered, with the highest incidence rates in the Marajó II (227.1/100,000 inhabitants) and Tocantins (105.1/100,000 inhabitants) regions. ACD was more frequent among individuals of mixed race (85.4%), males (54%), and those aged 20 to 39 years (35%). Oral transmission was the predominant route (87.4%), and laboratory criteria were the main method of diagnostic confirmation (95.9%). The lethality was low, with 88.1% of cases progressing to cure.
