Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/7945The following case study highlights the conditions of the electrical network of a singlefamily apartment in the Residencial Olimpus condominium in Belém-Pará. Despite being in operation for around 40 years, the network is outdated and lacks several elements recommended by standards. The only safety devices present are thermal circuit breakers (NEMA standard), which do not have the expected selectivity, and the grounding is practically nonexistent, posing risks to the physical and material integrity of the users. Additionally, the entire installation is filled with splices from amateur services and lacks color standardization. Given this scenario, the objective of this work is to develop an electrical installation project for the mentioned apartment, according to what is provided in standards, manuals, and general literature.
