Through an integrative literature review, studies published between 2020 and 2025 were considered, retrieved from the SciELO, LILACS, and Scopus databases. The findings indicate that dance acts as an integrative practice, promoting advances in physical, cognitive, emotional, and social aspects that collectively favor the experience of well-being in old age. Among the identified benefits, improvements in balance and muscular strength, stimulation of memory and attention, reduction of social isolation, strengthening of self-esteem, and promotion of a sense of belonging stand out. Modalities such as Senior Dance® and ballroom dancing proved to be especially effective. It is concluded that dance constitutes a pedagogical, therapeutic, and social resource of great relevance for promoting well-being in old age, capable of supporting public health and cultural policies and contributing to healthy, autonomous, and meaningful aging.Acesso AbertoDança para idososQualidade de vidaBem-estarEnvelhecimentoDance for seniorsQuality of lifeWell-beingAgingCNPQ::LINGUISTICA, LETRAS E ARTES::ARTES::DANCADança, saúde e envelhecimento: contribuições para a qualidade de vida dos idososTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - MonografiaAttribution 3.0 Brazil
