The research is justified by the relative invisibility of adolescent fathers in academic studies and public policies, which are often centered on motherhood. This is an exploratorydescriptive study with a qualitative approach, combining a literature review and field research carried out in the municipality of Augusto Corrêa (PA), Brazil. The study includes two young men who experienced fatherhood during adolescence, whose reports were examined through content analysis. The results indicate that adolescent fatherhood constitutes a process of early transition into adulthood, marked by the assumption of responsibilities, especially those related to the provider role. The study also highlights that this experience directly affects educational trajectories, resulting in interruptions or weakening of educational paths due to the need for early entry into the labor market.
