Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9890This report presents the results of the Work Plan entitled Bibliographic Mapping of Research in Theses, Dissertations, and Articles with an Emphasis on Children, Childhoods, and the Amazon, linked to the research project The Social Grammars of Children and Their Childhoods in Water Territories of the Pará Amazon Region, approved and funded through the Universal Call – CNPq/MCTI/FNDCT No. 18/2021, carried out from January 2024 to March 2025. The objective was to map theses, dissertations, and scientific articles whose research themes included the descriptors “children, childhoods, and the Amazon.” The specific objectives were: to map the literature (theses, dissertations, and scientific articles) addressing children, childhoods, the Amazon, children's culture, play, rural territories, and nature; to organize the identified literature by year; to read and analyze the selected works; and to systematize their contents through outlines, summaries, reviews, and other formats. The research was conducted between January 2024 and January 2025 using the repositories of four Graduate Programs at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), located on the campuses of Belém, Bragança, and Cametá, as well as Google Scholar. Methodologically, this study is bibliographic in nature and is characterized as a state-of-the-knowledge investigation. The findings reveal positive results regarding the theme, highlighting academic works that bring forward the voices of children and childhoods in the Pará Amazon through theses, dissertations, scientific articles, and journals related to the region during the 2024–2025 biennium. These studies demonstrate the visibility of these subjects within the intellectual production of Amazonian researchers. The mapping of publications also reveals that many challenges remain, including the lack of public policies capable of addressing the specific characteristics of the Amazon region. Due to its complex realities, the region faces serious issues that directly affect children, ranging from access to public education and income distribution to inadequate basic sanitation, all of which threaten children's well-being and the full development of their childhoods.
