Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9322The article analyzes environmental education practices developed in school libraries, based on Brazilian scientific production in Library and Information Science published between 2015 and 2025. The study is characterized as a qualitative literature review, conducted through a systematic search in the Brazilian Reference Database of Journal Articles in Information Science (BRAPCI), using descriptors combined with Boolean operators related to environmental education, school libraries, and educational practices. After applying previously defined inclusion and exclusion criteria, 24 articles were selected to compose the research corpus and were subjected to full-text reading and thematic analysis. The results indicate the predominance of isolated initiatives, such as thematic reading projects, educational workshops, exhibitions, and awareness campaigns, often linked to the individual performance of the librarian and weakly institutionalized within the school pedagogical project. The findings also highlight the centrality of information mediation in fostering socio-environmental awareness, as well as the incipient incorporation of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals as structuring frameworks for the analyzed practices.
